Pro-made lashes

Pro-made fans have become popular among lash artists for creating volume lash sets. These fans are pre-made lash fans consisting of 2 to 20 or more individual lashes, each with a thickness ranging from 0.03mm to 0.10mm. They eliminate the need to master the complicated Russian volume technique, as they come perfectly fanned out on a tray for easy application. This makes them ideal for lash artists who want to offer volume lashes but haven’t completed Russian volume training.

Lashes by RK offers a wide range of high-quality pro-made fans, from 2D to 20D, with various thicknesses, lengths, and curl types. We also have coloured options for creative styles. With our extensive selection, you can create any volume set, from natural to dramatic. Choose Lashes by RK for exceptional results and endless possibilities in lash artistry.

Pro-made fans have numerous advantages. Pro-made fans allow for symmetrical fans and precise outcomes while reducing the application time. By using Pro-made fans, lash artists can draw in more clients and boost their earnings. They are also a great option for lash artists who want to provide volume lashes to their clients but have not yet received training in Russian volume lashes, or for those who find that technique too time-consuming. In addition, you can use pro-made fans to create a range of lash styles, from hybrid to mega volume, and offer high-end services at a higher price point.

At Lashes by RK, we offer a variety of pro-made fan options, including Loose Pro-made fans, LUX Lash Books, and Speedy Pro-made fans. While the fans themselves are the same, they differ in their packaging and setup.

For those on a budget, our Loose Pro-made fans are the most economical option, but they require a Clear Silicone Lash Pad as they are not pre-lined. Our Lux Lash Books are the easiest to use, as the fans are perfectly laid out in a mega tray.

Speedy Pro-made fans are a more affordable option than Lux Lash Books, with lash fans attached to a clear fan strip and stacked on top of each other to save space. However, a lash pad is still required for application.

When applied correctly, Pro-made Fans do not cause damage to natural lashes. As a lash artist, it’s crucial to be able to identify the strength of natural lashes, whether they are weak (short or fine), average (mid-thickness and length), or strong (thick or long). This will help in selecting the appropriate weight of volume fans that won’t be too heavy. It’s essential to keep in mind that Pro-made Fans have different weights depending on their length, dimensions, and diameter.

Handmade volume fans are a type of lash extension that is crafted during the lash appointment. The process involves handpicking multiple individual extensions from the strip using tweezers and then fanning them out in the desired shape using the artist’s preferred method. The fanned-out extensions are then dipped in adhesive and placed onto the client’s natural lashes to create a secure and seamless bond. This technique requires skill and experience, but it allows for a highly customisable and personalised lash look.

Pre-made lash fans are manufactured by machines in a factory, resulting in their symmetrical appearance and limited customisation options. They are usually heat-bonded or glued at the base with a bit of lash adhesive and can have thick square bases that do not wrap around the natural lash properly, leading to poor retention.

Pro-made lash fans are similar to handmade fans in that they are created by professional lash artists. However, instead of being made and applied during the appointment, pro-made fans are pre-made and stored for later use. The same process is used with handmade fans, including fanning out the extensions, dipping them into the adhesive, and curing the adhesive using a crystallising technique.

For optimal organisation during your lash application process, we suggest using a Silicone Lash Pad on a flat surface at your workstation. To begin, take a small bundle of loose fans that you plan to use and place them on the lash pad. Use your tweezers to carefully separate the fans, and you can start applying them to your client’s lashes.

One of the benefits of using Pro-made fans is that they can be applied in the same way as classic lashes, without requiring any experience in making handmade fans. These fans have already been expertly crafted and packaged for immediate use.

When applying Pro-made lashes, you have the flexibility to place them on topat the bottom, or on the side of the natural lashes. While attaching from the top is the most common method, you can also attach from the side or bottom depending on your client’s natural lash growth pattern.

If your client has downward or straight lashes, attaching from the top is the best method. However, if they have curly lashes, attaching from underneath or the side may be a better option to achieve a fuller look.

The base of the extension needs to be parallel to the natural lash to ensure a strong bond. This not only creates a beautiful finish but also helps maintain the health of the natural lash by avoiding pulling or clumping. Don’t be afraid to explore different attachment methods to create the perfect lash look for your client!

When placing lash extensions, it’s important to maintain a distance of at least 0.5mm from the skin. Placing extensions too close or touching the skin can cause irritation to the skin or lash follicle, resulting in uncomfortable symptoms like itching, swelling, or rubbing. On the other hand, placing the extensions too far away from the lash line can create a visible gap, allowing dirt and oil to accumulate and potentially causing premature lash loss.

On average, a person has around 90-150 natural lashes on their upper eyelid and around 70-80 on their lower eyelid. So based on the average number of natural eyelashes, a tray of 1,000 fans can create up to 7 lash sets. However, the number of lash sets that can be created with 1,000 fans can vary depending on the client’s lash count and the desired lash coverage.

We recommend starting with either 4D 0.07 or 5D 0.05 lashes for volume sets. If you’re looking to create a hybrid set, a combination of 4D 0.07, 5D 0.05, or 6D 0.05 would be ideal. You can also mix these with classic lashes in 0.15, 0.18, or 0.20 dimensions. If you want to create a mega set, we recommend using 8D 0.05, 10D 0.03, or higher.

Yes, you can definitely mix pro-made and pre-made lashes. You can add classic lashes to the mix to create beautiful hybrid sets. Pro-made fans are also a great addition to your handmade Russian volume sets to save time during appointments.

For beginner lash artists struggling to create perfect handmade fans, our pro-made fans are a cost-effective solution that saves time. A Russian volume lash set typically takes new artists between 2-4 hours. But, with our Pro-made lash trays, you can potentially cut your lash time in half, allowing you to take on more clients and increase your income.

Eyelash Adhesive

You can safely store unopened adhesive in a refrigerator; however, it should be brought down to room temperature before use. Once opened, please store the adhesive in a Glue Storage Container to keep it in a cool, dark place.

We recommend replacing your adhesive every 4-5 weeks once it has been opened. This helps ensure optimal performance and the best possible results for your lash extensions.

If you experience issues with the Eyelash Extension Adhesive Nozzle, please replace it with one of the two extra nozzles that are included with each bottle.

To prevent the adhesive nozzle from getting blocked, we suggest using the pin provided while shaking the bottle. It’s also important to store the adhesive upright and avoid shaking it upside down. Be sure to burp the adhesive and use our RK Adhesive Nozzle Wipes to clean the nozzle after each use to maintain optimal performance.

All our adhesives are latex-free to ensure safe and comfortable application.

All our adhesives and liquid-based products are manufactured in South Korea, a country known for producing high-quality eyelash extension adhesives. We use only the best ingredients and materials to create our products, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

It is recommended to shake your lash adhesive for two minutes before dispensing a drop. Ideally, this should be done when you open a new bottle, or before using it throughout the day. Avoid shaking the adhesive with the cap on; instead, remove the cap and insert a pin into the nozzle or cover it with foil. It’s also recommended to use an electric eyelash glue shaker to assist the process.

To keep your lash glue nozzle clean, it’s recommended to use lint-free pads every time you dispense adhesive. And since eyelash extension adhesive can be messy,  keeping the area clean from any residue is important. Using our RK Adhesive Nozzle Wipes is a great way to keep your workspace clean by preventing drips and spills.

It’s important to change your adhesive drop every 15-20 minutes during your lashing session to ensure it stays fresh and doesn’t become too thick or stringy. Keep a close eye on the drop and watch for any signs of it developing a “skin” or becoming stringy when you dip a lash. When you notice these red flags, it’s time to dispose of the old drop and move on to a new one for the best lash extension results.

Using our Tweezers Cleaning Tool with Liquid Remover and Sponge Ball is a simple and effective method to clean your tweezers after using lash glue. This will help prevent any glue build-up on your tweezers, which can affect their grip and accuracy. It’s a good practice to clean your tweezers after every use to keep them in top condition.

To clean your jade stone after use, apply acetone (nail polish remover) onto a cotton pad and wipe away any residual adhesive. If there is a large amount of adhesive, you can apply adhesive remover and let it soak for a bit before wiping it off with a cotton pad. Alternatively, you can use an Aluminium Glue sticker on the surface of your jade stone for an even easier clean-up.

Lashes by RK takes pride in offering a range of lash glues that are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. We do not test any of our adhesives on animals, and none of the ingredients used in our products come from animal sources. We believe in providing ethical and sustainable, high-quality lash products without compromising performance. Our commitment to animal welfare is one of our brand’s core values.

The drying time of eyelash extensions glue can vary depending on factors such as the amount of cyanoacrylate in the glue, room temperature, humidity levels, and any pre-treatment. Typically, the glue can take half a second to 5 seconds to dry. Most lash brands offer at least two types of glue to suit different skill levels – a slower glue for beginners and a faster glue for more experienced technicians. It’s also important to note that higher temperatures and humidity levels in the workspace can significantly affect the behaviour of the glue.

To ensure optimal results and avoid retention issues, it’s recommended to replace your glue drop every 15-20 minutes. Over time, the glue can react to the air and become stringy, affecting its effectiveness. By changing your glue drop regularly, you can help maintain the quality of your work and improve the overall retention of your eyelash extensions.

Retention issues are a common problem in the eyelash extensions industry, and it can be challenging to determine the root of the problem. In most cases, retention issues are caused by several factors, including:

– Working with a new adhesive that the artist has not yet mastered.

– Failing to control temperature and humidity during the application process.

– Not refreshing the adhesive frequently enough.

– Using too little adhesive.

– Incorrect attachment of the extensions.

– Working too slowly with a fast-drying adhesive or too quickly with a slower adhesive.

– Using extensions that are too long or heavy for the natural lashes.

– Incorrect preparation of the lashes or using non-lash products.

– Clients not following aftercare instructions.

– Clients using high-strength creams, hair products, or heavy makeup.

– Clients taking oily supplements for their skin and hair.

Breath escaping from the mask increases humidity, causing the lash adhesive to cure quickly and weaken retention. To avoid this, artists can lower the room humidity levels and use more adhesive. It’s also important to avoid using nano mist or super bonders as they will weaken the bonds further.

UV Lash Light System

Step 1 – Primer or Protein Remover:

Cleanse your client’s lashes by washing them with eyelash shampoo. After drying, apply the primer or protein remover

Step 2 – Separating:

Separate the natural eyelashes of your client as you normally would. Keep the lamp switched off during this stage. You can also use tweezers to remove outgrown lashes during a refill.

Step 3 – Application:   Dip an artificial eyelash or a fan of eyelashes into the Beam Light eyelash glue. Apply the lash to the natural lash as usual. Press the foot pedal with your foot to activate the light. After 1-2 seconds, release the pedal. The adhesive is now 100% cured, allowing you to continue directly with the next eyelash without worrying about sticking lashes together.

– Instant Curing: The eyelash glue is 100% cured immediately, allowing clients to come into contact with water directly. The “48h no water rule” is eliminated, reducing the risk of negative impacts on durability due to customer misbehavior.

– Time Efficiency: You no longer need to switch between eyes, saving at least 30% in treatment time and potentially increasing your overall turnover.

– Enhanced Retention: The retention is significantly improved, with eyelashes lasting until the natural lash falls out. This level of durability surpasses that achieved by regular eyelash glue.

You can remove them using a regular eyelash remover. For lashes that have grown out, use tweezers during the refill process.

The retention is exceptional, surpassing any other eyelash glue globally. The eyelashes remain in place until the natural lash naturally sheds within its growth cycle, typically lasting about 8 weeks

Absolutely, you can use a UV lash glue system with any eyelashes.

Yes, using a primer is still important to ensure your lashes remain fresh and clean.

Absolutely. Our system has undergone photosensitivity tests, demonstrating that our unique combination of power, wavelength, light intensity, and exposure time has no adverse effects on the human eye and skin.

No, as long as you ensure that neither you nor the customer looks directly into the light. When used correctly, the lamp shines from above onto the closed eyelid and never directly into the eye. As a eyelash technician, you don’t have direct eye contact with the light, and you’re further protected by our safety glasses.

To maintain its quality, store the glue in the provided pouch to shield it from UV light. It’s best to keep it in a cool and dry place, but avoid storing it in the refrigerator.

When stored properly, the opened glue has a shelf life of 6 months. If unopened, the glue maintains its quality for up to 1 year.

No worries, you won’t encounter any issues.

Yes, the glue performs exceptionally well even when exposed to oils. However, it’s advised to refrain from excessive rubbing and touching for optimal results.

The lamp boasts an impressive approximate life of 30,000 hours! To put it into perspective, if you calculate a treatment time of 1.5 hours per customer (which is already generous given that refills are typically faster), this means the lamp can cater to 20,000 customers.

Let’s consider treating 40 customers per week (5 days with 8 customers per day) – a substantial workload. Theoretically, this would mean the lamp lasts for 500 weeks of continuous work, equivalent to about 9.5 years. This calculation assumes the lamp is constantly on during the treatment, which is not the case. So, you can easily multiply these values by 3 or 5 for a more accurate estimation.

Yes, it’s recommended to shake the glue for approximately 30 seconds to ensure thorough mixing of the ingredients.

Is it possible to develop allergies with the Uv Lash Light System? Our experience indicates that up to 8 out of 10 clients who previously experienced allergies, preventing them from wearing lashes, are symptom-free with our Uv Lash Light System. In most cases, allergies do not occur. However, in rare instances, extremely sensitive customers may experience allergies. While we can’t guarantee complete allergy prevention, our system has shown high effectiveness with many female customers.

Despite being a UV LED system, our glue does contain cyanoacrylate. Through extensive testing, we discovered that completely cyanoacrylate-free glues could be produced but performed poorly in practical applications. Without cyanoacrylate, curing would be more challenging and slower. Additionally, darkening the room significantly would be necessary to prevent the glue dot from curing directly. Our glue, however, doesn’t encounter these issues. It cures rapidly, and there’s no need to darken the room during the process.

Ensure the lamp head is positioned between 20 and 22cm away from the natural lashes.

The light is activated using a foot pedal, allowing you to have both hands free for your work.

he treatment of pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should only be conducted after consulting with a doctor. If there’s any uncertainty, it’s advisable to avoid treatment.

The system should not be used if the person being treated exhibits any of the following symptoms in the area where the light may shine: abrasions, keloid or unhealed scars, herpes, psoriasis, other infectious or inflammatory skin diseases, fungal infections, wounds, sunburn, neurodermatitis, or skin cancer.

Furthermore, the system should be avoided if the user or the person being treated experiences: epilepsy, polymorphous light dermatosis, photosensitivity, radiation or chemotherapy, or hemophilia. Additionally, refrain from using the system if the user or the person being treated is taking photosensitizing medication such as neuroleptics, systemic dermatics, and antiepileptics.

You can utilize common lash glue bases, but it’s important to avoid transparent bases or bases made of glass. The presence of glass may lead to the reflection of daylight, potentially causing premature curing of the glue dot.
